On true happiness
Not that I have too much time for anything like this. If I could choose, I probably would spend about an hour each morning like this - on Starbucks, with my Kindle (product placement, much? *snort*), having a relaxing start of my day. But alas, my mornings tend to be far more stressful than that. I frequently sleep too little (especially in Tokyo), so I get up too late. I run to the shower, try to make time for both breakfast and basic make-up, and then I'm off to work. I can only dream of having the time to pick up a coffee most days, little less sit down to drink it.
In a perfect world I would have that kind of time. Or I would make that kind of time. But then... If this was my daily routine, perhaps I wouldn't appreciate it as much..?

I think sometimes we want what we do not have. I envy people that rush off to work every morning with a normal routine because I think it must mean they enjoy their leisure time even more. But if I ended up with a 9 to 5 job, instead of dj-ing, I'm sure I'd hate it after a while. :D
Oh dear. I do have time to do this and it is because I'm self-employed and perhaps not as busy as my bank account would like. Yep, the other side of the fence looks pretty good. ah well, as I am now so you shall be and vice versa.
I love the way you think! Mornings during the school year are just exhausting, that's why I live for summer break!
That's the dream, isn't it? But if I spent a weekday morning in a coffee shop I'd feel so guilty...

I love time like that, but also don't make the time for it. I DO though, appreciate my reading time. (which I multi-task with by walking to work while I do it)
I hope you were able to take this picture while doing it, not while wishing to do it.
I am retired and apart from the occasional travelling I do. I have too much time on my hands, much is on the pc which I enjoy, also I visit my daughter once a week where we catch up on the gossip.
Have a good day,
Yvonne.
Nice. Althoug even when I have the time it seems to slip through my fingers before I get a chance to enjoy it. Time seems to speed up as you get older, when it should do the reverse. Please ask any Japanese scientists you know to start working on it (we have all the square melons we need).

I want to read the book with "bumpity-bump" in it.
Oh, this would so be my perfect start. Why oh why does the start of the day always go so haywire?!

I don't do it at a coffee shop, but at our kitchen table. Every morning if I can. If we're on the road we find a place to do it. It's my most relaxing time of the day. I hope you can find some time for it also...
