On balderdash

Bunions sound like something you can eat. A bun with onions with it?

Butterflies sound like a type of fly that likes butter. Or a novelty restaurant joke ("Waiter, there's a fly in my butter!")

Badger. The only animal with a name tag.

Beef jerky. What did it do to warrant being called a jerk?

Broad daylight. As opposed to narrow daylight?

Blog. It sounds like the merger between the words web and log. Web log. Blog. Oh, wait...

Very funny. Great way to look at B.

Good B's. I always wondered about more than one way to skin a cat (yes, I realize this isn't a b). Who is skinning cats and why do they need more than one way to do it??

I knew a kid that used to call butterflies 'flutter-bys' which makes a lot more sense. it does.

I'll never think of bunions the same way again -- and that's probably a good thing!

Snerf. Clever lady.

Although I might seriously gag thinking of bunions now. Blech.

Re: the bunion. You wouldn't say that if you'd been scarred by seeing my Aunt Evelyn's feet when you were young. Decidedly not edible.
