On why people think I am mad (but Queen is not)**

Is this the real life

Is it just fantasy

Caught in a landslide

No escape from reality

Open your eyes

Look up to the skies and see

I’m just a poor boy

I need no sympathy

Because I’m easy come easy go little high little lowany way the wind vlows doesn’t really mater to me

To me

Mama, just killed a man

Pulled a gun against his head

Pulled my trigger now his dead

Mama life had just begun

But now I’ve gone and thrown it all away

Mama, ooooo

Didn’t meant o makeyu cry

If I*m not back agains this time tomorrow

Carry on, carry one, as if nothing realy natters

Too late

My time has come

Sent shivers down my spone

Body’s aching all the time

Goodbye everybody

I’ve got to go gotta leave you all behind and face the trought

Mama, oooo

I don’t wanna die

I sometimes wish I never been born at all

(guitar)

(too fast)

I’m just a poor nobody loves me, he’s just a poor boy from a poor family,

No we will not let go

Lt him go

We will not let him go

Let me go

No no no

Mama mia let me go

Belzebub devil got a side?

(More guitar (fortuanateluy)

So you think you can stone me and spend my eye

So you think you can love me and leave me to die

Ooo baby

Can’t you list to me baby

Just gotta get out

Just gottaget right outta here

Ooooo

Oh yeah

Nothing really matters

Anyone can see

Nothing realy matters

Nothing really matters to me

(choir )

(end)

(phew!)

*(unintentional star. Sorry)

** Why, yes, I did try to remember the lyrics to "Bohemian Rhapsody", then failed, then decided that it would be a good idea to type them while listening to the song. All this while I was in a coffee shop. And then I thought it was a good idea to make the result a blog post.

How did you guess?

Great song. The entire Night at the Opera album is good. I used to have it on vinyl, but dumped it (and all my old vinyl records) at the Salvation Army 2nd-hand store some time ago >:)

Love that song, always brings back a memory of my dad singing it and he so rarely sings :)

That is one of my favorite songs! It's a karaoke must-sing for me - especially the opera part.

I love this song! At first I thought it was a poem you wrote and then I was like: Oh yeah, I know this!

Such a good song, then most of Queen's songs are. Brings back lots of memories!

I've never heard that song before--but those are interesting lyrics!

So, you're sitting in a cafe in Tokyo listening to Queen and presumably NOT singing along very loudly (how did you manage that?) typing frenetically to keep up. That would have been something to see.
I've never thought about the words before, funny how seeing them on a page makes them even more dramatic.
Great music!

Love this song! Once upon a time I could play most of it on the piano - not the crazy parts though! :)

Sue - YES! Singing along only very quietly... Mouthing the words. Typing like mad... (Looking completely mad)

TGE - if you've never heard of this song, you need to google it ASAP. Like now. Seriously.

Everyone else - love how this song apparently brings up great memories of different kinds :)
