On my alternative solution...

...to the Middle East conflict:

...they may need more giraffes.

If the giraffes take over, I'm concerned that it will lead to riots and violent actions from CLO (Camel's Liberation Organization)

Brilliant! Why has no-one thought of this before?

CAH - HAHA! Good point! Though I wasn't suggesting a giraffe take-over, I just think using them as negotiators might be a better idea than any of the options so far exhausted. Something to consider now that the US election is done?

BrioNI - I have no idea. It certainly seems like they have tried everything else...

I think you're on to something here! I'll suggest it to a colleague who does the whole standing in front of tanks and guns thing, much more sensible.

It is a terrible situation ou there and so many lives are being lost . Wouldn't it be lovely to have world peace?

More giraffes! And a monkey. Just don't shoot him into space. That always signifies the end. (At least in sitcoms and cartoons.)

Wow we are so on the same level .... why, just the other day I was thinking, "I bet giaffes would help solve some political issues ..."

Nice to meet you! :)

Those are just about the cutest giraffes I've ever seen. If they don't bring peace, nothing will.

Definitely wouldn't hurt to try!

HA! You've nailed it! I think you should definitely send the suggestion to heads of state. (I think it actually is a really interesting background to some futuristic novel... post some disaster that the only place to survive was the middle east because nobody wanted to harm the giraffes...)

I vote in favor. Who can resist a giraffe??!

Doesn't everyone?

I think you may have something there. A giraffe in every garage...
