Poor Tippi Hedren. During the film she suffered "nightmares filled with flapping wings" after enduring six days of crew guys throwing fake-crows at her head.

You've got a thing for eyes.(Mine are blue.) I found a couple of clips of The Coctails. I think I prefer Spike Jones' version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvt4b_qwC_Q

ahh... the birds. OK, I hate the birds. LOL!!! :D But I don't care for birds period--love their singing, find them creepy. ;p

What about... Psycho! I know, but still.

Happy Halloween! <3

I'm betting the eyeball will blink first! You should get Visine to sponsor this post, "It gets the red out!" - G

Mark - the things you know!

Alex - I do? Wow, thank you! Must go check it out :)

Jules - tee hee, I'm glad you like them :)

Mason - thank you! I'm very excited (and a little terrified)

Noname - yup, eyeballs are very easy to draw in MS Paint! Mine are blue too. And kudos for checking out the band from yesterday - it really was a clever typo cover-up, but if I helped PR a golden (?) oldie - good for them! (The video sent me off on a looong YouTube session involving Betty Boop, for some reason...

Leigh - they can be sort of creepy, but many birds are also very pretty. I've never actually seen the Hitchcock movie, though, so that might be why I tolerate them...

Geogina - haha - I'll have them begging me for ad space any day now. Twitter, not so much...

Holly - Twitter freaks me out! ;)

Whoa! That's a seriously intimidating eyeball!!

My kids laughed when they watched the Hitchcock movie, but I remember it being scary when I was a kid.

My first thought was of 'The Birds' too although 'Vertigo' was scarier than 'The Birds'. Hands down Hitchcock is WAY scarier than any vampire or werewolf movie to me-- except for 'Dog Soldiers'.
