On having the jitters

So far I’ve spent all my US time on the East Coast. That is about to change as I head west today. By the time this is posted I’m hopefully all packed, and getting ready to go. I’m both excited and nervous – the first will be evident in my blog posts tomorrow and Tuesday, while the second you can read all about on Monday.

Today, however, I’m cutting the blog short. All you get is another one of my lousy cartoons…

Did I miss where you're going? It's great to get away from DC. Can you give us some hints about your destination, etc?

I'm going somewhere? What? (Sorry, the whole Pace Prize thing got to my head...)

Yes! See, I thought you all could read my mind! Probably a good thing you can't... *snort*
I'm arriving in Minnesota tonight, where I will visit some relatives, and then on Monday I fly out to Michigan to visit our very own Watery Tart. I will also visit the Chicago O'Hare airport more than I'd like - once today and once on Monday, but it couldn't be helped.

I'm really looking forward to it now that the big Obama-surprise pushed my airplane-jitters away :)
