On wobbly walking while waffling windwards...

...or something...

Meanwhile, in the Burrow, there is an actual post with words in it. I can only justify observing Wordless Wednesday so many places, after all...

  1. Very odd picture, still it served a purposr for your W word.

  2. The gas prices on that sign make my wallet hurt. :-P Or rather, they make it reminisce about the days when I could actually afford to fill the tank...

  3. LOL, I think it is a sign for drunks. As in, "fall here the bus will be here to pick you up." :)

  5. Funny picture. All the signs are in English so I assume this is from the time you spent in the US.

  6. Alex - that's a rather sinister view, but who knows? It might be!

Yvonne - I wonder if someone did it on purpose, or if the wind or something tipped the sign. I'm guessing the former (college town).

Leanne - I wouldn't know. Gas prices here are more expensive anyway (but then so are wages, so I guess it's a neat trade-off)

Jules - hee, that's probably right!

Yvonne - so true, even in a gas station like this, eh?

Marjorie - it is! University Park, right by the U of Maryland.

  7. Step down or stumble and fall down!

Lots of funny ideas with this sign.

  9. I'm hearing that old disco song:
"Get down, get down, get down, get down tonight". I don't know if it's the sign or thinking about current gas prices.
