(All right, this MAY not be my given name, but still - glad you like it)

I have no plans of writing on Twitter what I have for breakfast, lunch or dinner. That is what I have this blog for, isn't it!

I agree, though - Twitter can definitely be "stalkerish", at the same time as it can be professional. It's a very dual and weird entity, really.Cruella Colletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11422848273167338884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5263129748509629442.post-84639696365410067822010-06-08T08:31:57.535+02:002010-06-08T08:31:57.535+02:00Hey, Cruella (cool name btw)! Thank you for following my blog, I really appreciate that.

As for this blog post on Twitter, I believe that Twitter is sort of stalker-ish. I don't have a Twitter, but I do have a Facebook for my blog and I keep it strictly for the blog. I also have a personal facebook, but that's just to chat with friends and whatnot.

I think that creating a Twitter is sometimes a waste of time and energy. Do I really care what Ashton Kutcher is eating for breakfast at this very moment? Do I care that *insert famous person here* is taking a leak?

The answer to both of those questions are "No."

Though there might be some intellectuals on Twitter that promote intellectual discussion, I believe there are very few. If you start a Twitter account, I suggest that you write cool things or about your upcoming novel and not about what you're eating for brunch.

Anyway, cool post and write on!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5263129748509629442.post-38792736018031823562010-06-07T23:45:19.854+02:002010-06-07T23:45:19.854+02:00Mark - oh how I wish I had thought of that! But it takes an effort to really keep up!

Tami - *snort* I don't mind having a bunch of new comments out of nowhere, even if three of them are duplicates from you... Good luck with resolving (or waiting out, as the case may be) the Bloggger issues. I haven't noticed anything - *knock on wood*)
Your experience with marketing BuNoWriMo definitely has made me realize that Twitter is useful in its way, but again - not yet for me.Cruella Colletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11422848273167338884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5263129748509629442.post-24204709526171441422010-06-07T15:00:11.424+02:002010-06-07T15:00:11.424+02:00I'm on both Facebook and Twitter. It is mostly the people I already knew I keep in touch with via Facebook. So our mutual judgement would be that they are good for different things, yes?Cruella Colletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11422848273167338884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5263129748509629442.post-74477511092426198352010-06-07T12:30:10.188+02:002010-06-07T12:30:10.188+02:00I love my twitter account and find it a great way ...I love my twitter account and find it a great way to connect with other writers but I am rather less fond of facebook which relies on you having other avenues of connection in order to communicate with anyone.
I'm glad you got something from your experiment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
